So I know I'm a bit behind on this post, but...

Just one day after the announcement of the iPhone 4S, Steve Jobs, co-founder and former CEO of Apple Inc., passed away last Wednesday at the age of 56.
Jobs had been fighting pancreatic cancer since his diagnosis in 2004, and was forced to step down as CEO earlier this year as he felt he could "no longer meet my duties and expectations."
For those wishing to share their thoughts or condolences, Apple is encouraging people to email their story to rememberingsteve@apple.com

About time, too.

Finally, at long last, the CDC has released a how-to-guide on how to prepare for a zombie apocalypse.

"Beware the cows! Not all milk is enriched!"

In other video game related news, Double Fine's Psychonauts was just released for Mac over the Steam market place. Released in 2005, Psychonauts still stands out to me as one of the most brilliant, charming, and funny games of all time. The game is currently $9.99, and comes with Steam Cloud capabilities.
Also being released is an iPhone app tie-in with the game that gives you extra commentary by Scott Campbell and Tim Schafer.

This is a triumph,

Let me say right off the bat that Valve is absolutely one of my favorite video game developers out there.

For all of you who beat Portal 2 the day it came out (like me), and haven't been content playing the single player campaign over and over again, it is your lucky day. Valve has just announced Downloadable Content will come out for the game on October 4th. While the DLC won't add to the story of Chell in a bunch of single player levels, it will add "Peer Review," and entirely new co-op campaign once again staring Atlas and P-body.

Oh, did I also mention that it will be free on all platforms?
